Freedom HS Interact Club and Oakley Rotary (and spouses) spent their Saturday on this super-fun project where we painted a map of the U.S. on the school grounds. One elementary school down and six to go

A monthly celebration of community, music and gourmet food trucks is back in Oakley! This monthly event is also a fundraiser for the Rotary Club of Oakley. It's hard not to have fun when Rotarians are together.

We had a great time celebrating now IPP Hugh Henderson and all the accomplishments of 2021 - 2022. Congratulations to our club's Rotarian of the Year, Maria Silva, and our Service Above Self recipient, Scott Pastor. Thank you to Brenda D'Amico for allowing us to invade her backyard. It's always a fun time with this group of people.

The City of Oakley hosted a new event, Oakley Summer Fest, and our Rotary Club of Oakley is fortunate to be selected as this year's non-profit to work the beer and wine concession. The weather was perfect, good music was playing, community members were out checking all the vendor booths, children were playing and the aroma of delicious food filled the air. It was a beautiful way to celebrate summer and our Oakley community.

Education is a powerful agent of change and our Rotary Club is happy and proud to help students move forward in their education. This year we awarded 5 Freedom High School seniors with a scholarship in their journey forward. Congratulations to our 2022 scholarship recipients, Madison Avila, Emmanuel Becerra, Benjamin Mariscal, Savanah Melgoza, and Gia Monticello.

It's Saturday and the tri-tip is on the grill. Oakley Rotarians and FHS Interactors are doing their thing as we help out FHS Athletic Boosters for the NCS Track Finals at Freedom High School.

We had to wait to celebrate our 3rd Anniversary Gala but it was a night of celebration with fellow Rotarians, Oakley community members, and families. A celebration like this cannot be done without the help and support of others. Thank you to MDRR, A.
